trinity ball!
tonight's "the" day!
we had a ball, and although it's very nice, i think the committee can do a little better... =(
ok... i'm going to give ratings (mabel, you may want this... =P) and sorry if my comments are a little harsh, but i'm only speaking the truth... =)
--- food presentation: 4.5/5 (i really love how the food is served, but the food is served even though the people are not at the table. i think there's something a little wrong with that)
--- food quality: 3/5 (personally, i hate the coconut sobert, and the chicken is rather dry. i only like the entree unfortunately...)
--- mc-s: 4/5 (only - and really ONLY - because the speakers are REALLY soft; mabel you did a great job!)
--- entertainment: 4/5 (i expected more than lucky draws and dance competition. e.g.: giving random lines from movies - since it's hollywood theme - and asking everyone to guess which movies the lines are from and write them on a card, then could have the cards for another lucky draw - only win if all the guesses are right.)
--- award presentation: 3.75/5 (it's weird when the mc-s mention the number of the ticket instead of the name of the winners. the award is also a little weird - especially kairo's salon voucher.)
--- music: 4.75/5 (really suits the atmosphere! but some songs have the four letter words in them. that's when it does not suit the atmosphere. hollywood supposed to be very formal and "moral" i think)
--- decorations: 5/5 (i really love the decorations! flawless! great job to mabel! the centerpiece is an amazing touch!)
--- other comments: 1) ask more teachers to come! 2) i happen to have the table where the menu is spoilt. the paper is folded inwards (as in a flap at the corner. and it's a huge flap) 3) the hibiscus smell comes out too strongly. but it's still nice.
that's it for now... i have a great time tonight overall, taking pictures with my friends and teacher (one teacher only unfortunately...)! looking forward to my next ball (in university i guess)! and mabel, the scott thing worked out great lahh! don't worry! hehe... we turned quite a lot of heads. hahaha
